I search for the beauty beneath the surface of this world and love to capture the moments when it peeks through – life’s real moment’s of creativity and wonder.
I love U2, Guinness, God and traveling – especially to places where all of those intersect.
I did my very first ‘photo shoot’ at age 9 when I made my best friend hike to the Bruce Trail in the late fall’s cold weather so I could take pictures in the leaves.
In 2008 I tagged along with a friend to the WPPI (Wedding, Portrait Photographers International) conference in Las Vegas, where I was inspired by so many talented people. I fell in love with pictures all over again.
I think there is nothing more magical than to watch someone take their first breath of life, and open their eyes to the wonder that is around them. I am honoured to photograph these first moments and begin to keep family memories.
At births, I discreetly capture important images in a photojournalistic style – allowing your family to be fully present for each other. I’m a Canon girl at heart (just love those lenses!) and use professional, full frame equipment.
